The Reimagined Sessions

The Reimagined Sessions is the second record from Rise Through Faith, out now — nine reimagined tracks, one of which is new.

The Reimagined Sessions — album cover

Why these versions exist

I reworked them because I have two music genre passions, and I would like the music to be available in both.

I made this music mostly for me. I listen to it daily and it is built around keeping me on the right pathway. When I am with the family in the car, the reworked versions are better. When I need more energy and I am on my own, jogging or in the gym, I like the originals.

I reworked the lyrics as well, so the songs carry the same theme but are not identical and have their own identity. Whether the rework is better will come down to your personal taste, or what mood you are in.

The nine tracks

  1. Still I Stand (Reimagined)
  2. Nothing Left — He Was Still Enough (Reimagined)
  3. The Weight Was Never Mine to Carry (Reimagined)
  4. My Life Was Mine — Until I Gave It to God (Reimagined)
  5. God Said Fight Back — Into Your Hands (new song)
  6. I Carried Tomorrow — He Only Asked for Today (Reimagined)
  7. I Woke Up Complaining and God Opened My Eyes (Reimagined)
  8. I Chose Myself But God Called Me to Serve (Reimagined)
  9. Life Got Easier — God Called Me Back (Reimagined)

The new song

Track 5, God Said Fight Back — Into Your Hands, has no earlier version, which is why it carries no “(Reimagined)” in its title.

Track 5 replaced I Couldn’t Hold On — So I Let Go because that theme is adequately covered in the other songs. I wanted a more powerful song. Fight Back — a song of action, with a nice ring to it.

It is also the song the album cover is drawn from, and the track pitched to Spotify editorial.

How it was made

This is AI-produced Christian music. The technology shapes the production; the writing, the direction and the reason the songs exist stay human-led. That is stated openly on every release rather than buried, and there is a fuller account of how the songs are actually made in What does AI-produced music mean?, and a longer honest answer in Is AI-made Christian music real worship? and AI-Generated Christian Music.

Questions people ask

What is The Reimagined Sessions?

A nine-track record from Rise Through Faith, released 16 October 2026. Eight of the nine are reworked versions of songs from the debut album Your Kingdom First — different lyrics, different arrangements — and one is a new song.

Is it the same album as Your Kingdom First?

No. The lyrics were rewritten so each song carries the same theme without being identical, and track 5 is a new song that has no earlier version. Both records remain available.

Which version should I listen to?

Whichever suits the moment. In the artist’s own words: with the family in the car the reworked versions are better; alone, jogging or in the gym, the originals. Whether the rework is better comes down to personal taste or mood.

Why is there a new song on a reimagined album?

Because the theme of the song it replaced is already covered elsewhere on the record. God Said Fight Back — Into Your Hands was written as a song of action instead.

Is this AI-produced music?

Yes, and it is disclosed on every release. The technology shapes the production; the writing, the direction and the reason the songs exist stay human-led.
